Have something to contribute? Do you hold or know of Canadian typographic works or stories that you feel should be included in the Archives?

Please note: This is not a portfolio site. Work will be reviewed by a diverse jury and added if it meets the criteria for inclusion in the Archive.

The best way to submit an Artifact or an idea for an Article is through the form on this page. You may also submit artifacts, article ideas and suggested corrections via email. Please gather as much information as possible, and email it to: [email protected].

For all other inquiries, please contact the CTA at [email protected] with questions and comments.

If you hold or know of work or stories that you feel should be included in the Archives, please gather and send as much information about them as you can. Work can be submitted in the form of a particular ‘piece’, but could also be the first-person recounting of time and place when works were being created, or when individuals met for the first time, etc - providing invaluable depth of context, and allowing the Archive’s visitors unique access to behind the scenes anecdotes, and detailed historical information. These stories can take a number of forms - including text, audio or video (or a mixture of).

Once submitted, we will review and may reach out to you for additional documentation, including images (if available), voice/video recordings, and other background information before adding to the Archives.

Please allow a few weeks for us to review your submission and form a reply. Submissions are reviewed two times a month, and our reply timing greatly depends on the amount of submissions received in any given period.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to the Canadian Typography Archives!
