There are a surprisingly large number of Canadian books on typography, type, lettering and history. The same is true for films and podcasts. We have also included a listing of all those who have been instrumental in the creation of Canadian typography.

Canadian Typography Archives (CTA) is a free and open online space for documenting the history of typography in Canada. CTA is supported by the Gibson Fund, and was created by a multidisciplinary team of contributors and supporters.
